This is not a new or made up wine. Rather, COOL SUMMER RED, is a heritage wine, Bardolino, named for a small town on the shore of Garda Lake in northeast Italy. The name is not known here but cool summer red is descriptive and "COOL."

Bardolino is made from Corvina, Molinara, an Rondinella grapes grown in hill side vineyards on the east bank of Garda Lake. Because it is local and suited to warm weather drinking, Bardolino is a favorite of the international set dining in the fashionable restaurants along the shore in the summer.
